How ironic the vast number of people clapping on a Thursday are the same ones who voted for Brexit 🤭

What has applauding and showing your appreciation for the hard working people of the NHS and other key workers got to do with brexit.
I thought it was down to human compassion.
Maybe some folk don’t know what compassion means.

Sorry but you have lost me. I clap and did not vote for Brexit. I clap because two of my friends have been really ill with covid, both are NHS workers. I clap because of personal knowledge of a bloke in his 30's who narrowly survived after weeks on ITU unconscious on a ventilator. This thing is dreadful!!

Disappointing and more devastation for Hull's economy but unsurprising as authorized mass gatherings were highly unlikely to return before next year. I look forward to my annual evening walk around it while sampling food.
