Time for a couples only club round here?

There's nowhere nearby and the couples only nights elsewhere are on Sunday or mid week. On other nights they have too many single guys. How about someone catering for genuine couples in East Yorks? There are some of us around.

the problem is as always keeping the hordes of single guys away

The "Flyer" used to have plenty of entries at one time, but it faded; so there could be a lot of interest. There was another shortlived one called Akimbo which worked for a while. But then there was the sex, pies and videos case that made the Sun headlines, so perhaps people got cautious. Some replies we got thru' Flyer and Akimbo tho' were phoney which is always the trouble. Perhaps organised parties would be an alternative to a club? Any offers?

It could be possible to organise a Hull Adult Forum , couples night , organised party etc, could you give us more details as to what is needed or do you know the best way to invite other couples ?

We'd be interested. Friday or Saturday may be best. Numbers depend on the venue and facilities; around a dozen couples. A charge is reasonable. But we don't know how to organise it to keep out singles, timewasters and News of the World and not meet our next door neighbours..... actually that might be quite fun!

We are Spike & Tracey, just joined this forum today, saw this and decided to stick our two penneths in We are regular swingers in the Hull area..indeed you are right there is a thriving swingers scene here in Hull, but its all private and contacts are mostly word of mouth and who you know from regular swinging sites like "swingingheaven" and "fabswingers"

We go to parties regularly in Hull not just a handfull of people either, we're talking around 20 couples plus, all friends, all meet on a social basis too, we're all over the place here in Hull...its just meeting the right people

We have been talking for a while about running a large scale regular Hull munch/social..we have a potential venue and we could easily get around a 150 people plus to fill it with ours and fellow Hull swingers contacts..The current problem for us is time to organise and get the ball rolling..theres been that much going on locally with private parties, work etc we could really do with meeting someone keen and that has the time to organise such things with our help and pointers to where all the people are

A note to the uninitiated: what we do and who we meet in ours circles is based on trust and friendship..everyone we know are really good friends too. the good parties in Hull are not geared towards an all in sex fest...turn up have a shag..go home...doesn't work like that! Although things normally deteriorate to mad sex with like minded and consenting souls later...new people that come in are welcomed with the right attitude, keep an open mind..go for the social and meet like minded souls for a laugh..and see where it goes!

Single guys...beyond popular belief..we do include single guys, TV's, people with all sexual orientations..trouble is with many is that many have totally the wrong attitude and approach to this kinda thing. if you are a guy and just looking for a quick thrill and then back home to wifey....then you aren't likely to get invites to many parties....the guys that do circulate are 99 times out of a hundred are genuinely single, attractive and do it for the same reasons we do, make new friends, have the right approach etc, you'd also be surprised how many single girls are present at some parties!

No there isn't established club near Hull. there have been many attempts in the last few years to do this, most fail at the starting post due to lack of interest and a general unwillingness to pay a fee for an organised event. Realistically you need a hundred people plus at an event to make it pay for itself..i.e venue, bar staff, door people, entertainment and most of all, a discreet venue being the big sticking point. Athough there are many swingers in hull, many of us all go to already established house parties, where we all know each other well and the cost is minimal. Beyond popular belief, its not cliquey, we all invite new people all the time even single guys if they have the right approach.

A fair point to make..we know this from experience...you can invite a 30 couples to a party..but 9 times out of 10..a good 3rd of these won't even turn up because they "bottle it" or "something comes up" or its the guy that wants to swing..and the wife/partner changes her mind..theres a whole slew of reasons why many back-out at the last minute..some inform you beforehand. some don't even bother...

A Note to anyone who wants to organise event locally,,and this is a huge pointer...

We wanted to help out some people who where organisng an event..we said we would willingly help out and try make it a success..but we hardly ever heard from them when we needed information..we invited them to parties so they could socially network with people..we gave them phone numbers to contact people who know lots of other people..none of this was heeded...so needless to say the event never ever got off the ground we believe...we think they just wanted to advertise it and the punters would come rolling in...wrong! in these circles it just doesn't happen like that, you really have to know people and move in these circles BEFORE you attempt to organise anything!

A Lot of the swingers in Hull mostly travel out to already established clubs ie Youtopia, 101 and Isis to name but a few. All these venues are purpose built for swingers..there is no venue at all in Hull that can cater for these needs
