ok...so we've had the dicussion on girls showing their faces and reasons in doing so/not doing so....in fact we have beaten that topic to death i think....
what i want to know is: when choosing an avatar, do you use someone you eant to look like, DO look like,want to have/do have?
i mean, ctr, cheese, etc...c'mon, I am curious! And mostly Lord Luken, cos if you look like that then you are very handsome. Most of all is the guy who had Johnny depp....if so, call me (hahahaha)

Intriguing isn't it? The numerous identities and avatars that make up our online personas. In my case Chrys, I have to admit that I look nothing like my avatar (sorry to break any illusions you may have about me Chrys). I'm possibly nothing like you'd imagine from my online persona as I'm certain those that have met me will possibly say. When i chose my avatar I chose the real Lord Lucan because of the mystery surrounding him, I wanted at the time to project the mysterious image. That said, I'm glad i don't really look like him as I'm pretty certain I'd be spending most of my time trying to make sure I wasn't being followed by the local constabulary.

Just spotted this thread Chrys ... well the avatar I currently have is a Koenigsegg which is the car I dream of owning ... and before that I had Bruce Dickinson (as you might recall) because I'm an Iron Maiden fan ... but in real life I'm a boring middle aged fart & don't have long hair or walk around in heavy metal T-shirts ! My real car is reasonably quick though

We have met in the room when you had your place in Hessle which was very convenient for me at the time - realised recently i went there as a kid for fun on saturday mornings about 20 years before visiting for the different fun you and the other ladies offered!

In terms of my avatar, i used to have a yorkie bar as i drive a lorry. My current one is a truck that was found by champ and my signature truck was created by wraith.

I personally would not show my own face on here or any other forum. I don't even have it on my facebook page and noticed many friends use photos of their cars or babies growing up instead of their own photos.
