Seriously I was driving back from Ferriby last night and the radio was full of reports, Ferensway flooding, Boulevard flooding, Princes Quay car park opened overnight so cars can be moved to higher ground, KC abandoned their building etc etc

Hi thanks everyone there isn't much damage at moment just a lot of cleaning today . We are just waiting on the electric board to come check the electric out they said either tonight or tomorrow .So fingers crossed to be back open tomorrow evening

Unfortunately we have just been given bad news we will be closed tonight now as the cafe below electrics need fixing and our electric needs to be turned of again soon they can dig floors up . Will keep you informed hopefully we will be ok for tomorrow .

Sorry to read of the troubles that you have been experiencing with the flood waters. Listening to the news yesterday morning, I did wonder if Discretion had been affected or not, though I was kind of hoping it hadn't been. To echo what has been said already, I hope that it's all sorted real soon and that Discretion will be fully operational again real soon.

This was taken as the water started to recede you can see high water mark on the wall 3-4 feet high. Fortunately it was only the entrance way and electrics that are affected. Have to feel sorry for the cafe next door lot of serious damage in there.
