Really? Are you telling me that Maggie asked the Argies to invade the Falklands?

Personally I think that her popularity increased because we were defending British property. In more recent wars we seem to be doing the yanks bidding and this has not proved a popular move.

Iraq and Afghan wars were roundly opposed by people on both left and right (the million march in London is the only time I can recall protesting alongside anarchists, liberals, Labour party members and Conservatives)
Very True - but no matter who protested the Labour Government lied to the public
& Parliament & joined in The Yankee Crusade sending British Troops to their deaths.
As for the Falklands again a war where Troops died because of errors (Welsh Guards
on undefended ships for one) but do you really believe that we should let someone
invade British Sovereign territory & get away with it.I suppose U believe the Falklands
rightly belong to the Argies.Well the Union Jack flys proudly over the Falklands.
Possession is 10/10ths of the law in todays world.

Anyway how can anybody vote for a party with Ed Balls in it. :!:

Conservatives to win by 7 seat - I don't think anyone has guessed that, but in the event a tie. is Sophie going to entertain a coalition?
